I was skeptical because I'm not a fan of spicy chicken sandwiches. BUT! That was the best chicken sandwich I've had in a while! They have a nice range of spicy, even no spice, but I did the lite mild...DELICIOUS!! And their fries and fresh pickles add to the flavor! I'll be going here very often!!!!

The sliders were very crispy and the flavor was on point my step bro loves it it was fast and friendly the fries are seasoned and delicious and the width of the pickles made a perfect the music and decorations were cool and creative I will be coming here again

Line out the door still! So thinking should be good...experience overall was there. Line moved fast, staff friendly, but lil tired from the traffic coming in the door. Good concept, Nashville "style" for sure. But, if you don't like gristle...may not be for you. Fries, good. Slaw, bland, but think was made for having on sandwich. Not favorite, mixed reviews here, do not think I will come to crave.

Huge portions and great spices made for an above expected meal! We have been eyeing the long lines since this location recently opened. Long lines out the door, so it must be good. We tried at 5pm on a Friday night and had about 10 orders in front of us. The food came out very efficiently and fast, with many staff members working the front and back of house. My friend highly recommended me this place to try their fried chicken and I am glad I did. After trying it, now I get that why it's always a line extending outside the store. And Dave's hot chicken is equal to my other number 1 fried chicken place in KC metro. After only one visit I am going to say it. Best fast food chicken you can get in the KC area! Holy cow, I mean chicken! First off, the size of the tenders! When it was a 2 piece tender meal I thought, better add one to be safe....that wasn't necessary. I tried the hot and was honestly happy it wasn't too hot. We saw a crazy long line opening day so we came back, anticipating a long wait and boy was it worth it! I had hot and extra hot sliders and they were amazing - mouth watering flavor, good heat, moist, and very generous portions sizes (calling them "sliders" may be deceiving as they are full sandwiches). I'd been waiting for Dave's to open and figured 2 weeks after opening was enough time to clear out the crowds. I arrived today, Sunday, at noon and it was already pretty busy. I ordered 3 #3 meals, medium and they were ready in about 5 minutes. Way faster than I expected. Would give an extra star perhaps if not for the really long wait. Way too long for fried chicken sliders/tenders, and fries. Had the hot combo 3. Was pretty hot (kind of sneaky hot). Flavor was good, but unspectacular. Fries looked good and seasoned, but actually were not that flavorful. I would say overall the food was good, not great, and although the portions were nice, it's expensive. I would not go out of your way for it, and if the line is out the door, choose something else..
