TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Service was very patient and answered all my questions since it was my first time. The inside was a little crowded in terms of seating. I felt like I was right on top of the people at the table over. I got a Dave's #1. It was 2 medium heat tenders, fries, no pickles, Daves sauce, and 2 pieces of bread. Chicken was very thick pieces and two was definitely enough. It was better then average, I did get the mild chicken because some places just go wild and the spice on that was ok. The fries need to be crispier and the Mac and Cheese was really soupy but not a bad taste just better than average, if they baked it with extra cheese that would be great but those are fantasies! I chose the number 3 and the sandwich "slider" was good it had the coleslaw in it and I liked that but it's about the sides! SIDES LIVES MATTER and this was just better than average! So immediately when you walk in you are greeted with the coolest graffiti art on the walls and it's so vibrant and just all around cool. Then you're immediately greeted with the best customer service I have seen in a long time. So I had to try this place because I kept seeing the viral videos of everyone saying it's the best chicken ever and the way it looked as well as the sauce.
