TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Absolutely overpriced for fast food. Dining area was filthy. Had to clean our own table. Save money and go to Zaxby's in the same parking lot.
Only thing good here is the music. Dirty, food is terrible and service is by a bunch of kids who seemingly have to be here.
My daughter wanted to go here so we stopped in to give it a try. They had chicken tenders sandwiches of all heat category, french fries, milkshake, and just chicken fingers by themselves everything was fried and then dipped in batter way overpriced and more like fast food buyer beware.
1st time at Dave's, ordered #3 (2 Sliders w/ Fries), no spice, no kale slaw, add cheese ($16). After waiting for 15min, got mild with kale slaw, no cheese. Chicken portion was small, fries tasted like they'd been sitting for a while. Pickles were the high point. Maybe some day I'll forget how bad it was and try again...but I suspect the franchise location will be shuttered by then.
This location is pretty mid Dry chicken, too much seasoning, not-so-ideal location. The location in Charlotte is much better
This place is pricey and what you get isn't worth it. While the chicken is tasty, my sandwich looked like it had been stepped on. My husband's tenders came with what I think was supposed to be texas toast, but it was not thick nor toasted nor buttered, so it was more like stale Wonderbread. The crinkle fries and sauce I am sure came from the Zaxbys 2 doors down. But the worst part was the $4 milkshakes. My vanilla was just a cup of soft serve-no milk, no shake. The chocolate and strawberry were runny from the fake flavor syr... read more
Went today for the first time with a group of friends. General feeling was way overpriced, my chicken (ordered hot) was dried out and others ordered mild and said it was "ok." Not sure why they give you two pieces of white bread when you order just the tenders (not sliders). French fries were kind of odd tasting. The acoustics are bad - It's extremely loud in there with loud music playing. Next to impossible to talk. We all agreed we would not be back. Bojangles is much better!
Do you like bland chicken? Do you like to pay for that bland chicken? If you answered yes to both these questions then this is your place! Gave it two stars because the fries were the best, would recommend them! UPDATE: reduced to one star, the crunchy air chicken was just so unflavored that I can't sleep just thinking bout what a tasteless experience I had today. Please bear your tongue the disappointment.
Chicken was good and hot. Pickles were soggy. Clearly out of a jar. For the price, they could slice pickles for freshness. Fries were room temp. Asked for new fries and didn't check them before returning to table. To our surprise, they were again room temp. Didn't send them back again. Lunch for 2 was $32. Chicken, bread, fries and a few pickle slices and two drinks. Place is new, so as expected, clean. Hope when the new wears off they have to work a little harder on standards to keep customers coming back.
