Dave's hot chicken was ok to me. I got mild chicken and it had NO seasoning. The sauce that was on it helped but whenever I ate the chicken alone it was blah

Nasty chicken, customer service was horrendous. Made by white folks don't know how to cook chicken or even fries half cooked with old grease. Don't buy from here. I have to order My Way food because i am still hungry.

Price way too high for mediocre food. Boxed mac and cheese. No sauce other than ketchup or Dave's sauce. One size for drinks. Half the drinks didn't work. Only coke and Diet Coke for bottled options. Chicken was seasoned after it was cooked. Fries have pickles on em. Just don't go

Let's kick it off with, Instagram- what you see is NOTTTTT what you get Social media always makes these places look phenomenal, for me it was a must try, so we drove an hour to come check this Dave's Hot Chicken out. This was our 2nd (and final) visit to this location. The Charlotte location is great, so there seems to be a management/ownership issue here. The first visit was shortly after they opened the location and while the food was good, the restaurant was dirty and my partner dealt with mild food poisoning symptoms afterwards. Last night, the dining room was once again dirty but this time, the portions were noticeably smaller and the food was dry/overcooked. 17 days ago, a review was left in regards to how dirty the restaurant was. Apparently 17 days is not enough to change anything at the restaurant. There was french fries laying in seats. There was food crumbs all over the doorway rug on the inside. Slip hazards in front of the soda machine and just very unkempt everywhere there was water in that area. This place is garbage! Dirty, slow and expensive! 14 bucks for a chicken sandwich and waited over 25 minutes to get my food. They had food in the seats, crumbs on the tables and dirt on the floors.

This restaurant is filthy, looks like it has never been cleaned, unacceptable cleanliness, food was okay, service was a bit slow, but the dirty floors and tables were offensive to me.

I went for my second visit. The first visit was okay. Expensive thought. I came again for lunch. Got here at noon with only a few people in the store. I waited for 30 minutes for my 2 tenders. Entirely too long a wait. Once I got my food and the chicken tasted gritty with the fried coating. Barely edible. How do you mess up chicken tenders? Not sure I'll be back. I question if this location will make it.
