TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food was a 4/5, the hot is pretty spicy. I would probably have preferred a mild. 3/5 because the dining area is very dirty. None of the tables were wiped down. There is grease, sauce, and crumbs all over the tables, floor, and even walls.
First time In person who helped us was Hailey the service was the was good they let us know about the wait before and was really nice about it as well as repeated the order back

The crispy chicken, golden fries, and pillowy buns looked like they'd just walked off a food-modeling runway. Service was good and the dining room was pretty clean. I must say the food was just ok in my opinion. I got the slider and tender combo with a side of Mac and Cheese, the food definitely could have been hotter and the Mac was nothing special. I would have to say that Monroe's is a lot better. It's worth a try but don't get your hopes up.

The service at Dave's hot chicken was excellent,lady at the front helped me and my family with questions we had. And the food was delicious!
First time trying and it did not disappoint. The chicken was moist and flavorful. We ordered medium heat and was not even spicy. The fries were perfectly seasoned and Dave's sauce was incredible. The art on the walls make it so fun. I already wanna go back!
