0 stars. I ate here and threw up because it was so bad. the "hot" chicken was literally sweet and cold. i would consider that not hot. the employee was so mean and the sprite was flat. don't go here if you enjoy life. ts pmo

This is my 3rd visit and it sure has gone downhill. My second visit I got the wrong spice level and this time my wife ordered mild. I ordered medium and turn to be the same spice level. My son wanted a milkshake but they've already broke down the machine. I arrived at 9:00 and it was already tore apart. The card machine prompted a tip option from the get go when I don't even get table service. Upon exiting the building the exit door was locked and the patio was blocked by a table. Cashier kept itching through his pocket and ... read more

Nashville hot chicken for people who don't like flavor. I am a Nashville hot chicken aficionado. I've been to every major location in the Nashville Metro, and several local themed places as well. Dave's has SUCH a huge following - lines out the door for weeks - that we were excited to go too. I wish we hadn't. Their chicken was just bland, or if you ordered a higher spice level it's bland that makes your mouth burn. No complex flavor profile like other chains became known for, just heat and salt. As so often happens with new restaurants, today we saw our first decline in food quality, portion size and service. We were fast becoming a loyal customer, but our most recent experience failed to meet expectations. Normally large, juicy chicken was now thin, dry chicken. Hot, crispy fries was now lukewarm, soggy fries. And food that was promised by 5:20pm online was not ready till 5:52pm. Strike one Dave...50/50 we ever go back. Larry from Vestavia Hills
