Have been waiting to go here ever since I saw one was opening in the area and when I finally got the chance it was not a good experience. The service was awful and rude when I was treating the lady with nothing but respect. The place was not overly crowded and even as it thinned our food had still not arrived and our shake was very poorly made. I hate that my expectations were so high and the experience didn't match. We originally tried to eat here at the grand opening but we had our toddler with us and the line was around the block, that was a great sign and we have been itching to come back. We came today, customer service was great.. very friendly staff.. but unfortunately upon ordering we learn they have no ice.. she couldn't guarantee a cold drink but we could get a fountain one if we wanted or pay extra for a cold water. I hate that my expectations were so high and the experience didn't match. We originally tried to eat here at the grand opening but we had our toddler with us and the line was around the block, that was a great sign and we have been itching to come back. We came today, customer service was great.. very friendly staff.. but unfortunately upon ordering we learn they have no ice.. she couldn't guarantee a cold drink but we could get a fountain one if we wanted or pay extra for a cold water. Let me first say the artwork and versatility in the restaurant is eye catching. The staff was very nice and patient, but the food...... left me speechless and not in a good way. The chicken tenders were fried way too hard. They were inedible, and whatever mild dry rub they sprinkle on the tenders had a funky after taste. The Mac and cheese lacked flavor and my daughter ordered a blue slushy (I forgot the flavor) and she ended up throwing it in the trash before we left. Welp, very underwhelming chicken . Guys... Baumhowers (by a long shot), Guthries, and even Jack's has way better chicken sandwiches and tenders than Dave's. It's not even close. The fries are great but I ain't going to an overpriced chicken joint for fries. However, the staff were very sweet and fast and the place is very clean. (The chicken was fresh, just not good.) Heads up for my saucy people: They only have Dave's sauce. No BBQ, no ranch, no honey mustard, etc. Dave's sauce is actually good but can't save that chicken.
