Since this place opened, it had been on my list of places to try in Wesley Chapel. There are so many chicken places in the area, but I was interested in trying hot chicken from here. I've been to Nashville and tried the famous Hattie B's hot chicken and loved it. So I was curious if this would be a similar experience. The cashier was nice and helpful. Nothing makes me happier than when my husband says he's bringing home Dave's for dinner! That classic, delicious chicken always hits the spot. I always go for the slider with fries, and the mac is definitely a must-try! My husband recently tried the nuggets and loved them too. You can't beat the quick service and the friendly team--always a great experience!

O M G ! This is HANDS DOWN the best chicken place that offers the chicken tender/toast/fries/coleslaw combo. So many of these types of chicken places have opened up and Dave's is the best for sure. Yet another chicken restaurant in Wesley Chapel, but this is definitely up there. I stopped by a busy week night when kids were off from school, but I was still able to place my order quickly at the cashier and waited for my order at one of the tables. Cashier asked if I wanted additional Dave's sauce and other sauces when my order was ready to be picked up at the counter. Wesley chapel definitely doesn't have a shortage of chicken places to choose from, with that said if you have never tried Dave's Hot chicken it's a must on your list. From the flavor to texture and moist strips. These guys know what they are doing and have managed to keep it consistent across all there locations. The service could use some help, less talking to each other and being on phones and more customer interaction and less attitude when asked questions. Heard quite a lot of good reviews about this chicken chain, and I was pleasantly surprised! Chicken is very crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. French fries are also very fresh, and the Dave's Sauce paired well with both chicken and fries (in my opinion) Service is very efficient. Inside is very busy and bustling, there is sure to be a line during dinner rush hour. Despite the constant flow of customers, the tables and bathrooms are clean which I appreciated.

I've been meaning to go to a Dave's Hot Chicken, and I went opening day, and again last Friday. Dave's is definitely going to be a staple in the Wesley Chapel group, the food is not the cheapest, but, no place in the area is anymore. The place is very clean and has a nice floor plan, with a very inviting theme, with fun and upbeat music. If you want/like Spicy Chicken, look no further. The chicken is delicious and cooked crispy yet still juicy, the crunch is almost a little to much as is the spice level. Hot is HOT! If you normally eat spicy food as I do and especially chicken such as Buffalo Wings, spicy chicken sandwiches from the other places, be forewarned, the spice levels here are Next Level! The joy I had when I found out Wesley Chapel got a Dave's hot is unmatched. lol. Literally none of the fried chicken spots around here can compare. We went to another new chicken spot by the grove just before this opened and for the same price, we got maybe a third of the protein. Dave's hot tenders are HUGE.
