Wife and I ordered Dave's for the first time tonight and It was just not good. The chicken came off as rubbery with a very odd texture. The meat had this shininess to it and did not look like chicken. We each could not even finish one tender. Fries were ok, the Mac n cheese was the best part. But very disappointed and feel we will be sticking to a closer chicken place that we highly enjoy.

Me, personally, this is absolutely not my thing. Too greasy and blah. Maybe a nice salad with it would have been great, and cole slaw does not suffice for salad. Now, my husband liked his and would return and get a hotter one. He got what they said is comparable to jalapeño, but did not detect heat at all. I called the restaurant to do a pick up order since my husband was on the way and we are both starving. The woman on the phone told me that they don't do phone orders and you can only order online or in the restaurant. I literally have a newborn baby and I couldn't manage to go order online and wanted the food ready when my husband got there. This is the first I've ever heard of a restaurant, not being able to accommodate to go order, especially when they were not busy enough to pick up the phone. Terrible service. And te... read more

Served Luke warm; was this under a heat lamp? Also note that drinks are not included with the meal. I can't personally say that the taste makes chicken stand out from others out here in the Roseville area. The Dave's sauce is pretty good but other than that it's very unfortunate that the chicken was not served fresher this day.

I usually really love hot and fried chicken like it's one of my favorite meals for sure. I wanted to try Dave's because it was really close to my house and just an opened and it was pretty pricey. I mean for three chicken tenders was almost $15 and two you out of three of them were so hard I couldn't even bite into them. I've never seen tenders with green bones. Not so good don't understand why people like this chicken it's very salty and only things worth ordering are the loaded fries that they add a gallon of cheese on .(way too much cheese )plus I feel like they aren't using the right type of cheese for these loaded fries for a high end restaurant, they are using very cheap nacho cheese that you would find normally l at a movie theater. it was okay. this is a pic of the 1 time i went here, i wont be going back. was excited for spicy hot chicken that has drivethru was throughly disappointed. still thought angry chickz or that one in rocklin is better. chicken was spicy but not very juicy and not flavorful. toast was very disappointing

Honestly the portions are way too little for how expensive it is. It might seem affordable but it's very deceiving because what you get in return is VERY LITTLE PORTIONS. Trust me, Go to in n out across the street and just buy there. Personally, the chicken wasn't anything special either. The fries are just some obvious freezer fries that are cooked, nothing really fresh. And From what I notice at this location, the chicken pieces you get are very little compared to other locations.

Very disappointed in the quantity of food and the customer service on my visit on 8/1/2025 I arrived home from my mobile order and found three puncture fingerprints in my top bun and as I'm eating my slider, a long piece of black hair in my food... I went back to the restaurant request to speak to the manager. I spoke with manager Stephen, who told me he could not refund me and would not refund me because he was apparently the kitchen manager.
