Wasn't sure what to expect, but ended up really impressed! We tried the sliders, tenders, mac and cheese, and loaded fries--and sampled all the sauces except the hottest levels. I was a little nervous it would all be Nashville-level spicy, but you can actually choose your heat, which was a nice surprise. The chicken quality was solid, and the generous amount of pickles was a huge win--they were phenomenal! The signature sauce leaned more mustardy than something like Cane's, but still paired well. Checked out Dave's Hot Chicken the other night; amazing food, cool vibe, and an all-around great staff. Big thanks to Ruby for being so friendly while taking our large order and making sure it got boxed up since we forgot to ask for it to go. Food was nice and fresh when we got it home and was absolutely delicious! Only complaint is that I wish I got more sauce. Pro tip: get the loaded fries
Not good. Not bad. Seemed like if you get hot it should be hot. The coleslaw is good and different
We tried Dave's Hot Chicken for dinner last night and went through the drive-thru, which ended up taking about 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and did apologize for the delay. Once we got home, everything was still fresh, and our order was accurate. I had been looking forward to trying this spot and the food was good, just not particularly memorable.
