Arrogant, not interested in patient feedback, dismissive and will talk over you. Complete waste of time. Hard to believe he can operate like that and still be employed. Not surprised to see many others have had a similar experience.
I went for longtime, slight pain in lower left back. They took X-rays. Dr. Musante came in, never examined me or asked one question. He said that I have the same condition as another family member, that there was nothing he could do for me but pain medication and PT. Gave me no time to ask a question and walked out. I'm not sure if he knew but my family member has had major back surgery, been in agony for almost a year, and desperately trying to get off opioids. I was traumatized. He looked at my xrays and the paperwork I filled out about my back pain walked in and said "this is not a surgical case" and walked out.
Dr. Musante spent less than 10 minutes with me. This physician came in and began speaking to me about my age (40) and crepitus without first asking about my experience or doing a pain assessment. He reviewed an X-ray that did not include the portion of my body that I came in for. He said, “I can see most of it and it looks ok.” Pain is not a normal part of aging. He's a terrible person. He would not listen to my concerns, very rude, very unprofessional. Would not recommend him to anyone.
I would not recommend Dr. Musante, nor will I schedule another appointment with him. He didn't listen to what I was saying regarding my symptoms. I told him the diagnosed from my pain management doctor. He said he didn't mention that in his notes. I had printed my visits/summaries. and showed it to Dr. Musante. Then, I told him I had seen another doctor there at Emerge Ortho regarding my back, as well. He got annoyed and said I didn't see that doctor because he didn't have his notes. On 12/24 around noon, we showed up for a scheduled visit. Dr. Musante was extremely rude and hurried. I had to catch him, practically grab his coattails, as he left the room to ask for better pain control for the patient . Though the assistant assured me that the doctor had called in an order, he had not (as I discovered by checking in on 12/26, 2 full days later but of course over Christmas). I hope that he treats his surgical patients better, but am not willing to have him take further care of my husband.
Not as great as the individuals that praise his perfect work. After my surgery I didn’t see him or any other doctor until 2 weeks later. I believe under his credentials he may be a good guy but as far as care for me his only concern was my picture perfect disc xrays not the pain caused before, during or after
Very short in tone. I hope I never have to see him again. His attitude is very “Don’t ask me any questions.”
