Knowledgeable, professional, supportive and talented. At 62, I went in with back and leg pain that were limiting and getting worse. The first important thing we did was get a good diagnosis as a basis for all subsequent decision-making. I ended up with surgery to fuse L4-L5 and do a laminectomy at the same time. Improvement was immediate, recovery wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and now I am active and pain free. Mustante and his practice were super. Don't put it off!

Dr. Musante operated on me several times over the course of ten years, with the last surgery giving me the ability to walk without pain and have a normal life for the first time in over fifteen years. The surgery was very complex, over 11 hours over two days. He is amazing.
Dr.Musante was well prepared for my new patient appointment. He clearly explained my diagnosis and showed me the imaging so I could understand my diagnosis. He then clearly explained what treatment I needed. He stayed on track with the information which made the appointment very concise. I left the appointment feeling confident in him. I will say that he does not seem like a mushy, hand holding, emotional surgeon but it is clear to me that I can trust my care to him.
His rude attitude once he found out another Dr. from another group had seen me. He never went over MRI results and looked only at 2 x-rays done in his office! He was ready for me to leave, very abrupt and rude! DO NOT recommend ! I know he maybe an excellent doctor, but not for me!! Poor professional manner!!
Terrible doctor. Can to him with leg pain. He quickly told me I need three major operations. Each operation made me worse and worse. Do not use him he only wants to operate.
My experience with Dr. David Musante was deeply disappointing. When he entered the room, he briefly stated his name and immediately launched into a cold, curt explanation, simply saying I needed surgery. He did not review or explain the X-ray results that had just been taken, and I had to repeatedly ask for more details about the procedure, what it involved, and what the recovery process would look like. I was on time for my appointment but waited 30 minutes before being seen. I understand that appointments run over but I had an 8:15 am early appointment. Doctor rushed through his assessment and seemed irritated that I had questions. He seemed to care less about me as a potential patient and I would never let someone that insensitive cut me. I pray for him!
I felt unwelcomed, judged and more interrogated, than spoken with. Unfortunately I would not recommend.
