Dr. Musante is extremely personable and clearly an expert in his field. He takes his time to explain his diagnosis of your condition, the options and his recommended course of treatment. My opinion is that having a tremendous “bedside manner” and rapport with your patients is a rare characteristic that is often not part of the skill set of many of today’s top surgeons. Dr. Musante is that rare, highly skilled surgeon who also possesses a great bedside manner. He’s an asset to Emerge Orthopedics.

Dr Musante performed my back operation in 2007 and is now seeing me for problems with another area of my back. He explains options well and gives his opinion of what is best. At the same time does not force you to go with his recommendation. I have had 5 back operations in five different cities. Dr Musante is the best of them all.
thoroughness of exam with x-rays, MRI which results being presented via summary in patient's chart available in patient portal prior to follow-up visit with Dr. Musante. Staff at office were very professional and both Dr. Musante and PA King presented information of what was wrong and treatment options.
I appreciated that Dr. Musante explained in a forthright manner the nature of my spinal condition and what I could realistically expect at my stage of life. Scheduling and completion of an MRI was done efficiently as well as a consultative review of the results. Treatment options were presented and I was given the opportunity to consider them without being rushed to make a decision. I'm very satisfied with the information given and the care I received.
Dr. Musante explained thoroughly and showed me area where the problem is regarding a pinched nerve. Also showed area of surgery if or when I decided to have it done.
I was just in for a consult for neck pain which resulted from a car accident which we had in March 2024. I had had a severe whiplash back in 2016 from a much bigger accident and had done actually a long course of PT for it. The incident in March triggered a return of pain, and I did several months of PT again, but this time wanted a consult, and so I saw Dr. Masante. The appointment was short: they took x-rays. Short wait time to get an appointment. Entire staff was caring and efficient. Worked well together to make it a favorable patient experience.
Dr. Musante is the best doctor I have ever worked, regardless of specialty. He sees you as a person, takes the time to get to know you, and makes you feel comfortable asking any question you may have. The depth of his knowledge and expertise is evident in the answers he provides, as well as the questions he answers without you even having to ask.
