Dr. Musante is an absolutely skilled, compassionate and patient centered provider. A year ago I had a lumbar spinal fusion. The sciatica pain was gone immediately. I am 72 years old & back to my regular fitness schedule, rock climbing & scuba. I have no pain. I very recently developed severe neck & right arm pain. I know I have degenerative spine. Dr. Musante is very compassionate about my back pain and suggested multiple angles to address it. He has performed surgery on my husband's spine twice. I trust his judgment and good character.
He was very informative on issues and answered all questions in terms that I could understand.
Musante read through notes from previous sessions and came into the room prepared to ask and answer questions. While some physicians concentrate just on the part in question, Musante takes time to study the whole person, enabling the patient to understand the diagnosis
Excellent! He is an excellent communicator, and explained my situation in ways no other doctor has, the procedure he recommended has helped reduce pain so much! I’m so glad found Emergeortho and Dr. Musante. Plus communication with staff is excellent. Head and shoulders above my experience at UNC.

Dr. Musante had looked at my x-rays before he came in to talk with me. He asked me several questions and discussed my x-rays with me. Rather than telling me what I needed to do, he gave me options of what I could try. That I really liked. I chose PT and will follow up with him in 6 weeks.
He knew exactly what I needed to do about all of my orthopedic issues. Can't wait to get the treatment started
