Since I have had some prior experience with Dr. Musante, none of what I say here came as any surprise to me. I went this time on a referral from another doc who had a pretty wild theory about what was wrong. He found nothing in x-rays or exam that would have warranted said wild theory, but steered me in what I strongly suspect is a much better direction, and offered reasons for his suggestion. He was clear, direct, and a very good listener.
He was outstanding today. Answered all of my questions and was very personable. He helped me make my decision to move forward with the recommended back surgery

Dr. Musante was very engaging in the conversation about my issues. He had reviewed all available information and asked follow up questions to confirm he understood my case. He was patient, thorough and offered a care plan that we are implementing. While my case does not require surgery, Dr. David Musante created a plan to address future care needs. I definitely recommend him.
As a first-time orthopedic patient (who is now experiencing high levels of pain from a fractured vertebrae), I have been very happy with Dr. Musante and his staff at EmergeOrtho.
EmergeOrtho is good about getting you in quickly. Dr. Musante is an expert at diagnosing and treating back issues. He performed my back surgery, and follow up has been excellent.
1 year after an L4 - L5 fuse and laminectomy with Dr. Musante, I feel no pain on my back. Dr. Musante gave me my old life back. I was in so much pain that I was walking with a cane and had constant back pain and now I'm back to pickleball, tennis, biking, hiking!
I thought it unusual to be able to have a meeting with the surgeon who performed my back surgery. He answered all my questions and provided a number of helpful suggestions. It was a positive experience.
Dr. Musante knew my orthopedic history and described his diagnosis and treatment clearly.
