They treated my friend horribly and lied about services. Trying to give her 130 to shut her up. Give someone else your money

David’s Bridal at Westroads has been an incredibly frustrating and unacceptable experience. I was told at my first appointment that my alterations could be handled with my initial payment because they were expected to be simple. I purchased my dress while I weighed about 130 pounds. Even though I found a dress I liked, the experience was not very fun. The stylist had two bookings at once and my bridesmaids helped me more than anything. My group was great and we are farm girls so we are not that great at dress shopping It felted very rushed and not personalized. The website explanation did not match what was in store. The entire bridal party for my friend’s wedding made an appointment to try on bridesmaid dresses. The appointment started out pretty good. Our consultant was friendly enough and tried to be helpful. My fiancé found the dress she liked there. The dress was around $300. Then to the alterations which came to a total of over $575. How do alterations almost cost 2 times the amount of the dress? Alterations should be included when someone buys a dress. People don’t buy a car then have to pay extra for the motor, tires and windows.
