I went to David’s bridal to find a dress for a formal gala I will be attending this month. I knew I had to buy off the rack so I figured they would have the best chance for finding something. Out of the 3 dresses I found and tried on I ended up buying 2!! One for my Gala and one for formal night on a cruise I will be taking.

At age 57, I can’t believe I have not yet shopped the David’s Bridal experience. My mom made my wedding dress 34 years ago, and the only wedding I was in, my dress was also made. So, after some horrible in-line shopping for the perfect dress for my youngest son’s wedding, I was encouraged to go to David’s bridal by a dear friend. I have nixed feelings about this store only because of one of salesperson in Alterations Dept. Normally, I can overlook negativity. I thought it was just me. However, I visited the store several different times and felt the same negative vibe from the same person. I noticed that there was preferential treatment towards different clientiel by this one person. It started with comment about my dress which I purchased from another David's Bridal. The store is not clean and the only person who was even nice was the lady at the desk when you first walk in. I went in to get dress for my fiances "best man". The style person helping us was rude, helping other people so she was not attentive and actually argued with me! Their alteration department is limited and a joke. Don't waste your time here, go to the on Brodie Lane, they are awesome!

I don't typically do this but I'm frustrated to no end with you guys. While I absolutely loved getting to pick out my wedding dress and the sweet lady who helped me was phenomenal, I'm pretty disappointed that I'm not able to return my dress to you guys. While I had no idea that I would need to return my dress, not being able to do so when I literally tried it on once in the store, never took it out of the bag, and had NO ALTERATIONS made to it is quite ridiculous. Davids only pays their employees $7.50/hr during 2 months training, not a living wage. SHAME. BOYCOTT until they go to $15. DB is 1.57B comp.on the backs of their employees. They have no respect for women

Worst customer service ever. We came in for my sister, the bride-to-be, to try on wedding dresses. First of all, they were late to our appointment. Then when the lady finally shows up, she automatically insults my sister's size (she is a small, petite girl) and stated that they probably don't have anything for her. And how do you expect to make sales like that?! I've never been sooo insulted in my life...thanks for giving me the stare down employee at David's Bridal along with the comment "Wow...I don't think we have anything that will fit you...what are you a 00?!?." This was before i even started picking out dresses to try on... To add on to the terrible service, she asked me to pick out 5 dresses i wanted to try on and she only pulled 1/5 and the rest she picked herself and they were all types of dresses I DIDN'T ask for.
