I went to David’s this weekend to have my mom try on dresses for my wedding. Well when we got there we were told to browse around and a stylist would be right with us. Honor their freaking return policy written on the receipts.. For purchases made before stores closed at end of March due to Covid-19 ( PS The government has programs to help businesses dont take it out from your customers). Daughter received her dress on April 6th. Dress didnt fit.. Needed to exchange or return.. store is closed, called and was told the the return would be honored for 30 days after the store reopened. RecommendedThe rep that assisted me name was Alexis. She was awesome! She took her time to look for designs I was interested in and answered all my questions. I said "Yes to the Dress" to the first dress I tried on. I was so excited that I found my dress so quickly. I was just going in to look around. Extraordinary Service was given. From start to finish of getting the bridesmaid dress for my friends wedding this experience has been terrible. I just picked my dress up from alterations today and I am incredibly disappointed. The only things I asked for where to have the straps tightened and cups added to the dress. the worst experience of my life. I purchased a dress paid half cash and put the rest on my credit card. My perfect dress was ordered and all was done. So I thought! Get a call three weeks later telling me that they stopped making this dress. To come back to the store and get a refund. So I went to the store and they told me that they could not give me cash back, even though I paid cash. So they offered to place the refund on my cc for me, thought this would be faster! NOT! Came to the realization that i could of had my wedding dress shipped to my address in 4-9 business days, yet to ship to the store it takes over a month! At the time of ordering my dress along with my bridesmaid dresses at the store i failed to realize this fact. No one at the store told me this either even though they knew that i needed it as soon as possible. Horrible experience, I went with my friend to look for her wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses for myself, she had an appt from 2-3 it was very disorganized, we finally got our appt at 2:30 when we were on time then when we went back the girl helped us with bridesmaids dresses and said that’s all her appt was for....what???the main reason we were their is for her not to find bridesmaids dresses so then she went to complain they said well we will see if a 3 o’clock appt doesn’t show up so we waited around and she was called ... read more
I was highly disappointed with my experience. I was led to the front of the store to pick out dresses and had to wait for the consultant (Dawn) to return, so long that I had to have her called over the intercom. I picked out at least ten dresses and she only brought my three. The ones that she brought me were too small and I had to keep asking her for the right size.
