I personally had a bad experience at David’s compared to other bridal stores. The only reason I say this is the rep who helped us didn’t actually help at all. We went in with 4 completely different body types and the lady who was assigned to our appointment had zero enthusiasm to help find dresses everyone felt comfortable in. She didn’t pull anything for us and we had to keep looking in the stacks for whatever we wanted (which is totally fine but she would have known better what styles they had that fit descriptions). I booked an appointment for a bridal party on November 3rd at this location over a month ago. I brought my daughters in to pick out their dresses and I was picking out my bridesmaids dresses. I have one bridesmaid in Louisiana. The rest are from out of state. They all have a David's Bridal within an hour of them. This would have been the perfect place to get their dresses. I was so excited to come to my appointment for my bridesmaids’ dresses at David’s Bridal in Totowa, NJ. We had done a lot of research on the David’s Bridal website and found 6 dresses that we loved and were looking forward to trying on. When we arrived at the store, we told very rudely that we had to get rid of our coffees; even though, their employees were freely walking with their coffees. The person that measured our party was so far off on sizes it cost as much or more than the cost of the dresses for alterations. And then we had 2 bridesmaids that live out of state and their measurements were spot on, only required hemming for $55.00 each. Something is wrong with this picture! How can David’s Bridal charge so much for alterations?!?! Very misleading when you purchase dresses at a reasonable price and then the cost doubles with alterations!!!

If you are looking for a warm fun and inviting experience keep on looking. The sales girl was very scripted and didn’t listen to the bride at all. Overall poor experience and god for bid you want to try dresses on because you can only pull 3. We were their only customers in the store.

Alright, so I had my first bridal appointment here. First off, they double booked me so the consultant was bouncing between me and another bride. The consultant was not at all knowledgeable about anything bridal, and I didn’t know much either, as I went in with an open mind & it’s my first time getting married. Secondly, the consultant was EXTREMELY pushy. Went to David’s Bridal at Miracle Mile. Received such poor customer service from multiple employees that we walked out after five minutes. I will happily spend my money elsewhere. David’s Bridals needs to learn to value their customers and create an appropriate and welcoming environment. Do not recommend.

The alterations department at this store is TERRIBLE. We purchased a very expensive wedding gown and alterations were $600 in addition to the cost of the gown. It was expensive, but I was okay with the cost until I went in for my final appointment to pick up my dress and take it home. They had sewn on the OLD belt that everyone in the store uses to try on, with beads missing. They handed me my new belt in a bag when I arrived??? It was already supposed to be attached to the dress. My friend and I both scheduled bridal appointments for Sunday, October 20, 2019 for 12-1:30PM. Immediately upon arrival, it was utter chaos in the store. We were asked if we would be okay with sharing a consultant or if we wanted individual consultants. This isn't my first visit to David's Bridal, and historically, one consultant has helped multiple people during the same time slot before.
