I originally went and got a dress I wasn't all too sure of but I let the opinions of others sway me. At that point I tried on three dresses and one was calling out to me. So I went back and when I wanted to switch dresses they were rude about it but made it happen. They told me that I "couldn't keep doing this" (not playfully) when I had one change of heart for a dress that was a smidge out of my price range but it was the RIGHT one. The consultant Mary Catherine (cathy) was more into helping the other bride than ours. We had to track her down numerous times. She was miffed that the bride's mom was in the dressing room with her but that was only because she could not dress herself in those garments and needed help. Either way she did not ask if she needed more help just started helping others in the store even though I saw 5 people walking around not with brides so it wasn't a busy time. Tonight's experience was awful. I went to pick up my bridesmaids dresses and Amanda was not very polite or personable. She didn't seem to care for my needs or care to answer the questions I had for future purchases with David's.
The environment and experience was stressful, costly, and far more time-consuming than it had to be. Between the salesperson…I mean, stylist attempt to gain her commission…I mean our business, the incredibly meek girl at the front of the business, and the lack of ability to answer simple and common questions about delivery pretty much insured we will never return and will now dread being in any future weddings. Thanks David's Bridal at Harbison, SC! You are now officially the last place I want to shop!
Spent 2 &1/2 hours in this store with the bridal party looking for dresses. After multiple dresses, finally find the perfect dress, perfect price, was assured all was in the specific color, and size, to find out while checking out, there were only 2 dresses in the color available in a size 14 and 22
