I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this David’s Bridal location. Upon my first visit, I had disclosed that I was pregnant and would be 5 months along at the time of the wedding. I was assured ordering my bridesmaid dress two sizes up was sufficient and the seamstress could insert panels to widen the dress if needed. I had a very good experience right from the get go, the person who greets you at the door was very nice and my consultant was very friendly and helpful. I found two dresses that were very nice and one could possibly be the one. Overall was a great experience.
I came into David's Bridal in Harrisburg to have my bridesmaids get an idea for the different styles of dresses available and so that we could all see the different colors in person (computer screens can distort true colors). It was not a visit to make final decisions but rather a nice chance to get all the girls to meet and get together. My Grandaughter's dress was ordered on the 23rd of September, with me and my husband and our 2 year old grand at the counter. When I called on the 9th to inquire of the time to pick up the WHITE version of the dress she tried on that day, the system and the reps tell us that we TOOK the dress with us, not ordered it! I had the worst experience ever at the location today. It was my first appointment the stylist was very rude. Felt as if I was being judged. I know it is a tad early. But I like to plan ahead.
Absolutely horrible. Unprofessional, flat out disrespectful, unwilling to help you at all/do any work for the wedding party despite having an appointment, and by far the worst of all, INSULTING to the bride over and over. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. You will leave upset. One star is too gracious.
When I went to buy my wedding dress I had a wonderful experience. But when I went to alterations I had an awful experience. I didn't buy my under garments when I bought my wedding dress. I lost 80 pounds and wanted to wait until alterations to make sure I had the correct size. They didn't have my size in the corset. They kept bringing me sister sizes that didn't fit right. What ever you do, dont use anyone through David's Bridal. Both the photographer and videographer were terrible. Who still uses a standard definition video camera? David's Bridal, that's who
Trip#1 Made an appointment for myself (the bride) first then had one scheduled for my 5 bridesmaids after my time. I scheduled these appointment weeks in advance. The consultant was disappearing and made me do all of the work. We couldnt find her cor help. We had to find another worker to find her everytime. Then she stuck all of my girls into one fitting room and said that the color (coral) was available in all of the dresses. I wanted my girls to pick their own dress in that color.
