I have been there twice now to help brides try on dresses.. I'm disappointed in the selection they don't carry much three racks of dresses.. and this time I was there yesterday Oct 2 and we picked a few dresses out of the bridal show room and a lot of them the lady said they only had in size 2 so we couldn't even try on. I understand clearance only having certain sizes but If it going to be your bridal show room I think you should carry it in a lot of different sizes otherwise put it on clearance.. I found my dress in February of 2017, 3 months after I had weight loss surgery. I told them this at my appointment and that by September of 2017 I wouldn't be the size I currently was in February. I said yes to a dress and they told me it would take 4-5 months for my dress to come in so they really pushed ordering it that day. 2 weeks later the dress was in. A size 18. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!! I picked out a beautiful dress for my Son's wedding, the color and fit were perfect, just needed my Finance' to see it before purchasing so I asked the store manager to hold it for me overnight and she said absolutely, no problem. The next morning I call to confirm for sure that I would be there that evening to pick up my dress and when I got there they had sold my dress!!! My daughter was there yesterday she said no one helped her and the people here were just mean. Treated bad. Y'all owe my daughter an apology... She's so happy about her wedding and had to deal with rude David's staff.
Went there on Sunday for a second fitting. We were there for an hour and a half! Prior visits went much better. There were only 2 of us and it took that long. Very frustrating.
This Davids Bridal store treats a bride how a bride should be treated! I had just had a horrible experience at the store I live close by to and refused to go back. They were rude and gave me the worst dress experience. I don't live near Lexington at all, but was willing to travel for good service. I had called and explained my experience at another Davids bridal and they were will to fix everything! They were so helpful and kind. So the reason for the one star rating is because as soon as we got there we were NOT welcomed and then rudely were told that she couldn't try on any dresses because we didn't make an appointment (understandable) but rudeness isn't needed. Fast forward to shopping around the service was AWFUL not one person asked to help my mother (the bride to be) get fitted for her dress or even told her where to go and I literally seen like 3 of the girls that worked there just chatting away!
