I drove over 1 hour to your store to see the HUGE selection of dresses for $99 you showed online; however when I got there, luckily I found only TWO ugly gowns all torn, dirty and in horrible conditions. The seller explained to me that you guys offer stuffs online that most of the time none of the stores carry and she told me that the dress I was looking for was available in Puerto Rico, but size 16... really? I'm in California and I'm size 2. Totally false advertisement! I would never visit your store again.
The stylist I had for my bridesmaids was absolutely horrible. She got the dresses they wanted to try on but then completely left us. They decided what dresses they wanted and we went to the front to pay. I didnt know what our stylists name was so I had to describe her to the woman in front. Then when she came up she said they didnt have the dresses in my color. So i had to pick a new color. Then I had to pick another color because it wouldnt come in on time. If I could give zero I would. While my experience of finding my wedding dress and the woman who helped me were both wonderful, do not get your dress altered here. When I decided on the dress initially it was too tight in places and wouldn't zip fully. I was assured that alterations could fix it no problem and that if I ordered the next size up it would be much too big. We had a bad experience here. We had an appointment for 4pm. They called and told us to come when ever we wanted to. We got there at 4pm and were told we could only look at certain dresses. When we got a fitting room the lady that was supposed to be helping us was busy with someone else and we were passed off onto someone else with out even being told. Then when they finally got our bride to be in a dress they left us and her in the dress for 15-20 min before the new person came back to check on the bride to be. We had to fl... read more
For a bridesmaid, you’d want a good experience too. Everything went well, all of us bridesmaids agreed on a dress! Sizing wise: WHAT A NIGHTMARE. I feel so bad for the two girls in the bridal party who had to reorder their dress! The reorder sizes were wrong too! The customer service at this location is horrendous. My best friend (and the bride to be) is going to a completely different David’s Bridal and will be calling corporate because of the unprofessional employees at the Middletown location. Even though I found my dress at David's if it wasn't for my daughter I would not if had any help at all. My appointment was as 12.00 and I had to wait. When they finally told the consultant I was there she said she was busy with someone else. I was put in the dressing room the consultant came in and told her what I was looking for. She seemed preoccupied. She left and again we waited. My daughter looked out of the dressing room after about 15 minutes and she was busy with the other party. She said Oh I'm going. I was so sad about my shopping experience here, it was AWFUL! Among the issues we faced: (1) initially given dresses that were all the wrong size/did not fit; (2) stuffed into a tiny dressing room that barely fit me and a dress; (3) sales person told my niece that i could *never carry that style off* (4) the sales person i had an APPOINTMENT WITH had another bride there at the same time and therefore had very little time to spend with either of us - i had to get into and out of each dress myself and (5) I was looking for a ... read more
I’ve been in this store three times and all three times I’ve bought a dress. I will be in 3 weddings in the next year. The first time I went, I made an appointment. I got there on time for my appointment and I understand that people run late but my consultant didn’t help me very much and I had to chase her down to get any help.
