I ordered my bridesmaid dress and was told I would get $20 off since the bride purchased her dress there! Well they were also having a $20 off sale so I thought GREAT even better until I was told it was one or the other not both. I had an appointment on Sunday at 12. I wasn’t greeted for the first 30 minutes after walking in with 6 bridesmaids my daughter and both mothers who were all looking to purchase dresses including my wedding dress. Was there with the bride, bridesmaids and jr, bridesmaid's to look for the bridesmaid dresses. The appointment was made a month ago. Most of our party traveled more than a hour, took time off work or altered there schedule to make this appointment. Apparently they double booked our attendant. And because we were just looking for bridesmaid dresses we were stuck in a corner and basically left to attend to ourselves. I had an appointment for 1pm on Saturday the 30th for an accessories fitting with my dress and alterations and even went in Thursday to confirm...Upon me getting to my appoint on time I approached the desk to check in the associate placed me and my dress in a dressing room and said someone would be with me after waiting 15 min I had to go and get someone (there were at least 4 associated standing around) they said they thought I was being helped but I was just sitting in the open area where bride's look at themselves in the ... read more
I bought my daughter's homecoming dress at this store. She fell in love with it the minute she tried it on. It fit perfect, two associates even commented of how nice it was on her. One of the same that comments also checked us out and commented again about it looking so nice. I'm very unhappy with the service we received today at the David's Bridal in Peoria, IL. We were treated very rudely, ignored, placed in a corner, and forgotten about. We made an appointment a month ago to try on bridesmaid dresses. However, when we got there, our attendant "KT", had been double booked. The best part of the day was actually finding our dresses, with no help I might add. We get told to go walk through and pick out dresses we like then our stylist will come and help measure and get the perfect fit and styles. Well we picked out our own dresses and kept going back to get different sizes to find the right size as they run different from the norm ..... we picked our dresses, sizes with no help from anyone!! I've been to this location twice, with the first time being a pleasant experience (I bought all my bridesmaid dresses from this location for my wedding 3 years ago). However, my second experience with this location was not so pleasant. Most of the staff were unapproachable, cold, and rude except for the nice lady who first checked me in.
