As a bride you want to be treated like a bride. You should feel special, I mean this is the biggest day of a girls life! I had made two different fitting appointments! I went online and created an account, added dresses that I liked and wanted to see at my appointments. You would think they would have access to view your account before you get there, so they can be ready. But no! My bridesmaids all ordered their dresses from David's bridal. Half of whom had issues with their alterations. We don't live nearby, so it was a huge hassle to go pick up the dresses, only to leave them there to be altered again. Not only were the alterations SUPER expensive, they did a terrible job. Never once did they apologize for the butchered dress job or the inconvenience. AND the "second fix up" appointment is cutting it close to the wedding. Avoid davids bridal. I went in this weekend and had a horrible experience. Sure, the new location is prettier, but thats where the good ends. My "consultant" basically said - How much do you want to spend, here's our inventory, pick out what you want and we'll try it on --- that's not consulting. I chose from the VERY limited inventory they had (not like the other store). She then "got my size" which were too big, and basically left us in the fitting room area. My wedding party and I tried on wedding dresses here yesterday, and for the most part it was just fine. I was a bit put off upon coming in to the shop when I asked if there were any water bottles provided for clients and was told no. It seems like a fairly common practice in all of the other wedding shops I went it. I had to run in to best buy to buy water. I when there for 3 times . First like walk in and the second with appointment, but because I wasn't sure about the dress they made a third appointment. That was really nice to me. I finally took the dress that I first tried . And she ( Rachel) still asked me I was sure or if I wanted to try it one more time. Waited for a long time for a salesman to only be left by ourselves to try to look for a modest gown with no luck and barely a thanks when we left..will shop elsewhere.
Bought my bridesmaid dress, gave them my address...corrected my address again, called and corrected it AGAIN, and they still had the wrong one. Thank gosh I have an awesome UPS driver who knows me, who knows when I would have got my dress otherwise
we had Erika. she was nice and did het alot of dresses for my daughter, but, not the specific one we asked to see multiple times. not sure if they dont gave those kind or what.
