My first two visits to David's were nice, the young ladies that helped me were nice as well. However on my go back it seemed to be way over crowded and under staffed. My appointment was scheduled over a month in advance. Of course people walk in but I feel like standing appointments should get first priority. After trying on several dresses, that all were ivory, that my daughter would always say I want a white dress. The response was always the same. It comes in white, but everyone prefers ivory, you can't tell the difference. Finally found the dress, my daughter said I want white. They said we will order it in white. It wasn't a white dress she picked up it was ivory. They don't do a very good job. I'd never recommend them to anyone.
They messed up two of my brides maids dress orders etc
The store was dirty and there's were bugs crawling ALL over the dresses.
When i ordered my dress they told me i would be called or emailed when it came in. 2 MONTHS later i get a call saying my dress has been there almost 30 days. When i went in to pick it up the woman said i should have received an email. Im pretty sure i would remember receiving the email that my wedding dress had arrived!! I will not be getting my alterations there.
This store is absolutely the worst! Stay away. I purchased a gown for my daughter's wedding and when I took it to be altered it was between 7 and 10 inches longer in the front than the back. The back was an inch or 2 above floor length! They will not do anything about it unless I bring the dress in and they will determine if it is a manufacturer defect. Went with my daughter to pick her special dress. Told the sales girl our budget and she puts my daughter in dress $400 over our budget! Of course my daughter LOVED it but we couldn't afford THAT dress while they tried to get her to charge the rest. She wants to get MARRIED not go in debt! And the favorites she chose online..they didn't have. Sadly very disappointed with their service.
