Me and all 7 bridesmaids drove OVER an hour to purchase bridesmaids dresses and in all spent over $1,000 and the lady said I would receive a swatch of my color to have and ended up not putting it in my bag so when I get all the way home they tried making me PAY $16 to have a piece of fabric shipped. DO NOT SHOP THIS LOCATION!! I bought a dress I loved from David’s bridal in Merrillville, IN back in October 2021. I heard some very negative stories about the alterations at that location and thus decided to try going to the Lafayette, IN location. My first appointment was March 1, 2022. I have had a total of 6 appointments as of today and have a 7th one scheduled. When I went for my second appointment on April 19, 2022 my dress would barely zip up. DO NOT buy dresses from David’s Bridal in Lafayette! I have had the absolute worst experience with them. The dress that came in fit NOTHING like the dress I tried on. I went through all sorts of hoops & customer service calls, getting transferred from one person to the next.. in the end they refused to return the dress and I’m now stuck with something I do not want and did not order. They finally admitted the way they clip the gowns gave a false image of the shape of the original dress and they still would not make it righ... read more
