Me and all 7 bridesmaids drove OVER an hour to purchase bridesmaids dresses and in all spent over $1,000 and the lady said I would receive a swatch of my color to have and ended up not putting it in my bag so when I get all the way home they tried making me PAY $16 to have a piece of fabric shipped. Then bridesmaids dresses came in and they were charging all of my girls different prices when they called and asked to ship their dresses. DO NOT SHOP THIS LOCATION!! I bought a dress I loved from David’s bridal in Merrillville, IN back in October 2021. I heard some very negative stories about the alterations at that location and thus decided to try going to the Lafayette, IN location. My first appointment was March 1, 2022. I have had a total of 6 appointments as of today and have a 7th one scheduled. When I went for my second appointment on April 19, 2022 my dress would barely zip up. DO NOT buy dresses from David’s Bridal in Lafayette! I have had the absolute worst experience with them. The dress that came in fit NOTHING like the dress I tried on. I went through all sorts of hoops & customer service calls, getting transferred from one person to the next.. in the end they refused to return the dress and I’m now stuck with something I do not want and did not order.
