I was extremely excited to come try on wedding dresses yesterday. Made an appointment a week in advance. I had one of my best friends, her young daughter and my mother with me... the lady who helped me told me "to be honest I doesn't like kids, I don't even want grand kids" when I told her the little one was going to be my flower girl.....which was pretty uncalled for and then made me feel awkward that I was some how an inconvenience for her. I had a terrible consultant she wouldn't listen to my ideas or theme my moh is blind I felt very rushed while letting her feel the material as that's the only way she can be part of it. Wanted to try a pair of shoes on couldn't find the box I asked my consultant and she walked away. Very disappointing experience and not very patient with my moh !! I would not go back to this store.
We were rushed. We had accessories constantly pushed at us (obviously consultants get commission to upsell). We were given less that 5 min to "make up our minds" before we were told the room had to be vacated for another appt. Our consultant abandoned us as soon as her next appt arrive. No one followed up with us. We left empty handed and went to another store where we received exemplary service from knowledgable staff. This was for Prom!! I can't imagine the nightmare of a bridal appt. Would not recommend.
The only reason I am giving this 1 star is because I paid $89.95 for a corset and the original price tag underneath said $64.00, so I am feeling ripped off!!!!! (I called them and asked why this happened, and there answer was that is the price in the system & at one point it was that price) I can it being a higher price then going down but I have never ever seen a price be low then go higher!!!!!!!
As a wedding planner im in and out of shops almost daily ... i had never been to davids befor and was extreamly excited to check them out for my best friends wedding ... i called 2 days in advance made an apointment and told them we have a short deadline so that they would only pull dresses that we could get in time and in our colour... we go in we get basicly ignored by steph (the sales woman who was suposed to be dealing with us) but aparntly dealing with a walkin bride and some other groop of people was more importent th... read more
My first experience was awesome at davids bridal, they were so helpful. But when I bought my dress.. it seemed everything went down hill. NEVER get alterations done there. They suck. Went in for my first fitting and the alterations girl cut her self and got blood all over my WHITE dress. And she thought it was me bleeding. Went in for my final fitting and the zipper that previously was broken wasn't fixed and was still broken when I went to try the dress on. The bustle on my dress is retarded and done very poorly.
