the hidden charges not just our experience but friends of ours also but a dress here and we were told sizing and cleaning is free and when we brought the dress back for sizing and cleaning there was charges and they would not uphold the agreement that was made at purchase time

I called David’s Bridal today and asked if a friend and I could come in and look without an appt. I was told yes but if it was busy with appointments we would not be able to try dresses on. We went to look around and while we were there, five girls were on the floor. There was one lady there trying on a mother of the bride dress. We were the only other two people in there. dint like that the one seller told me i couldn't afford the dress i wanted that i need to bump up my budget they did even have much of a selection in store for a couple of my brides maids ... tried pushing me to buy or order online ... i got the exact dress i wanted from a different place for my budget i will not be attending my appointment

I went there with most of my bridesmaids to find their gowns and, when finished, we still had 20 minutes left to my appointment. I'm making my own dress and my mom was a bit disappointed at not being able to have the experience of dress shopping with me, so I asked our consultant if I could try on one dress to show my family. She said it wasn't normal protocol but still pulled a gown for me and proceeded to pull out some accessories for the dress. The service is horrible!! I stood there waiting for 5 minutes while a group of consultants spoke to each other about personal stuff- my poor dad was standing there on crutches two weeks post op and they did nothing. When she finally looked up to acknowledge me she said can I help you? And I said yes I have an appointment she found the consultant who we were booked wot, who said I’m too busy with a bride to help so they passed us off to someone else. I would never refer anyone to David's Bridal. My granddaughter purchased her dress there. After we paid for it they informed us that they do not have storage.n She had an appointment booked last year to go for the alterations on May 5th, they called her and said that they had to change the appointment to the next day as someone else needed that appointment. I originally rated this store at 5 stars because my first visit was amazing! Now that I've been back to the store for my bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dress I've dropped my rating due to horrible customer service, unorganized and unhelpful staff. I definitely wouldn't reccomend to other brides and once I have my stuff we ordered I won't do business with David's again!
