Brides & Bridesmaids BEWARE!! My Bridesmaid Dress Did NOT arrive on Time!! Sorry to report- but I ordered a bridesmaid dress on Jan.22 of this year for a wedding the 1st weekend in June. They said for sure it would arrive by mid May. I called May 10th, and they said it would come for sure by May25th. David's bridal were crap for us. They were great until I choose the dress, after that my 2nd appointment they just showed me where the dress was and didn't even bother helping try it on. They also made me pay $99 for a corroset which I didn't need as it was already in the dress but I didn't know that, a hair price which they popped in my hair while trying the dress on ( I didn't even know I bought it) and also a veil which was $150. Worst customer service. The workers are rude and talk smack about the people who come into their store. The employees do not focus on the person they are suppose to be helping, but instead walk around the store aimlessly. I made an appt and my consultant was Rita. She was just amazing. Even though the store was packed, she made me feel like I completely had her attention. She kept me organized and definitely knows her products. She recommended accessories that beautifully fit the dress I had narrowed it down to. I ultimately decided to buy the dress and she took time to put me in the dress again to ring the bell. The little tradition they have is so amazingly special. Let me start this off by just saying wow. Yesterday I tried on wedding gowns for the very first time, at davids Bridal. I had two lovely ladies helping me the entire time. They made me feel soo beautiful, & they went above and beyond my expectations.. not just one but two of the gems there were literally running around the store pretty much the whole time I was there finding me shoes, and veils, hair pieces and belts to complete my look. I personally had a bad experience at David’s compared to other bridal stores. The only reason I say this is the rep who helped us didn’t actually help at all. We went in with 4 completely different body types and the lady who was assigned to our appointment had zero enthusiasm to help find dresses everyone felt comfortable in. She didn’t pull anything for us and we had to keep looking in the stacks for whatever we wanted (which is totally fine but she would have known better what styles they had that fit descriptions). On their internet page it says appointments are best to guarantee a spot but walk-ins are welcome. Horrible experience! Last time we walked in, we got turned around and was told to book an appointment, which we did call to book an appointment that week, but they didn’t want to book over the phone saying we dont need to book for a bride just bridal party. Worst wedding experience yet! I made an appt. back in March for my wedding party to find bridesmaid dresses- when we got there this Saturday we were told we only had one dressing room for all 6 of us. On top of that, there were no chairs for our use. After my bridesmaids would try on a dress- someone would come and say.. "are you done with that?" and take it. A pretty unprofessional and chaotic experience over all.
