I have been into David's bridal a total of 7 times. Each time has been a disaster and I wish I hadn't bought my dress or bridesmaid dresses there. They never had my appointments written down, they messed up my alteration instructions, they made fun of my plus-size bridesmaid, and they wasted a lot of my time.

Absolutely the worst customer service. I know brides feel like this is the easiest option for the brides but I promise IT'S NOT WORTH IT. There are so many online websites to order for (WeddingtonWay, Joielle) that provide better customer service and it's easy to try on the common name-brand dresses in other stores. I hope I never have to go back to David's Bridal!

Against my better instincts I had my bridesmaids get their dresses at Davids Bridal. I had a bad experience at a different location several years ago getting a dress, and after hearing good things, I went to a different location but still in my area. They were very accommodating when I, my mother, and two of bridesmaids showed up and wanted to try on dresses (them not me). I had gone onto David'sbridal.com looking for a cake topper. I found one and being a little over a week out from my wedding, I was nervous it wouldn't shop in time, so I paid quite a bit of money to have it expedited through 2 day shipping. SPRINGFIELD, PA 19064 LOCATION: What an absolute nightmare! Worst experience. Found my dream dress and cancelled the appointments I had at other places. Dress came in--dirty and with a HOLE! If I had purchased off the rack, that would have been one thing. But I surely did not. Clive, Iowa - My experience with David's Bridal AFTER buying the dress has been absolutely horrible. I went in and had a great time trying on dresses, my consultant was great and really down to earth. I made a plan in the store to have it fitted once the dress came in and then again in July. Once I had my fitting in July, they were going to ship it to my mom's in Florida as that is where the wedding is being held. All was fine and dandy until I gave them my money. Bride dress experience was great in Erie, PA. Very helpful and kind. When we went to get bridesmaid dresses the in store experience was good, but they were very sly with not being able to combine coupon offers. BE AWARE YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET AS GOOD OF A DEAL AS YOU THINK! NO COMBINING OFFERS.

I didn't expect to be able to find such a beautiful dress at David's honestly. It was a last minute stop after a day of wedding dress shopping and I found a ball gown (exact opposite of what I originally wanted) that had a beaded bodice and ruffled skirt. It was absolutely gorgeous and affordable! The consultant at David's was great and very helpful. I would recommend giving David's a try as they have some great finds!

Apparently, there is a lesson to be learned here. We did not spend a year planning for our wedding, and it is coming up in September. I don't have a great deal of time to work with, so I went to David's website to find a dress. I found one I loved, paid close attention to the measurements of the size available, carefully took my measurements (I take measurements often, being in the health and fitness business).
