They are very military unfriendly !, beware this is 2014 and women do serve in our miltary due to deployment they will not refund your money the women there have a sour attitude

Don't buy any of the extras from David's Bridal of York. My daughter was advised she should purchase a slip and molded cup, along with her wedding dress. Our alterations lady (not David's Bridal - they are waaaaayyyyy overpriced for alterations) immediately asked why we bought the slip and cup - she said we didn't need it. So we are out $80 and we all know now why that sales slip is marked ALL SALES FINAL! So you can't return anything after you realize you were hosed. Worst part is our sales associate was a friend.

I first went to David's Bridal in Wilkes Barre, PA in June. I scheduled an appointment to try on bridal gowns, and while the lady assisting me was friendly, they had double booked her so she was also assisting another party with their bridesmaid dresses. While I understand that around noon on a Thursday may have been a somewhat busy time for them (?), there were other consultants there without any customers, while my consultant was running herself ragged trying to go back and forth between the two. David's Bridal in Whitehall PA....HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place to go. Made an appointment for bridesmaid dresses and the assoc.(Morgan) was just helping the other lady with her dresses, which she was buying a wedding gown. Made it really clear that I really did not matter since I was not getting a wedding gown, like me and my girls were nothing. I was a bridesmaid for a wedding recently. The girl who helped us even yelled at us because she didn't tell us where to try the dresses on but apparently had assigned dressing rooms without telling us. She yelled all the girls sizes out and treated the bride like she was a chore and inconvenience. Its a very assembly-line feeling when you are there. They are not flexible with alterations. I purchased a beautiful dress from David's Bridal and was not informed about their rigid alteration policies. I am a petite bride and needed at least 6 inches removed from the hem. At the alterations appointment they informed me that they only took off what is needed at the front and taper to the train. They would not remove the 6 inches from the train as well due to "corporate policy", so I am now stuck with a much longer train than I ever imagined or desired and this dress now does n... read more

David’s Bridal in Metairie, LA. When I arrived at the store I told the receptionist I had an appointment and she had me fill out a form with my information on it(which I had already filled out to make the appointment) She suggested that I get a mermaid style dress because I it would hide my stomach from having kids. I went to David's three times - once to get an ideal of what style gowns are currently in fashion, once looking for my own gown and once looking for a bridesmaid's dress. The service both times was horrible. I found a dress for my bridesmaids but was so turned off by the service I received I purchased the dress online to ensure the store got no credit for the sale.
