All I have to say is RUDE! I had an appointment for Grossmont center and they called to confirm the day before when I got there i was told they had no appointment on file and no one could help me. I was also told that I could try on only upto 2 dresses (on My OWN) and there was only 2 other customers in the store & 4 employees just sitting around. I left & went to Princessa in Plaza Bonita & found the exact same dress I wanted at David's bridal for 1/2 the cost!
I went with my daughter to pick out her dress. The seamstress measured her and then ordered the dress and I signed for it and paid for it in full. Today we went to get the dress and it is one size to small. When I noticed that the salesperson working the floor gave me attitude and acted like it was our fault the dress was to small. They forget they are the experts and we are the purchasers. I sent a letter per their corporate rules and am waiting to hear back from them regarding this. Today is NOT a very happy Friday the 13th! I had my final fitting for my wedding dress today. The dress is beautiful and it was perfect when I tried it on. However, the last time that I had a fitting before my dress was altered, I had to switch out my under garments for bigger sizes. That same day, I paid for my alterations and left the store without my under garments. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!! This stores are a monopoly and rely on the emotions of the bride and her loved ones to treat their clients like children. I spent the first and last 5 minutes in the store and it was enough for me to never go back. I ended up going to nordstrom where the service was outstanding. My friend and I walked into the store and we were immediately greeted by a receptionist/sales rep that all she did was point to the dresses. Okay, I'm writing this really hoping that I don't sound like a bridezilla, but I have not had a good experience lol. I chose my wedding dress at this David's Bridal this year. The consultant I had was great. She made trying on dresses a really smooth process, listened to me and she was able to help me find my dress! Horrible, don't go here, the ladies are extremely rude and insulting to everyone in the wedding party, davids bridal needs to teach their employees some manners and how to treat customers and be excited and kind towards them and their wedding party on the big day! Rude people and the alterations people are strictly trying to make a buck on your dollar in every way possible and are very rude when you tell them your not interested in what their selling! Wish I didn't go here!
Very good service - my dress was on sale. They did have to correct alterations but they had it ready before I had to leave for my VA wedding.
Much like everyone else, my experience here was horrible. I am a rather young bride, I'm getting married at 17. But that gives them no right to not take me seriously. I went in to purchase 3 bridesmaids dresses and my bridal gown. The receptionist told me my consultant would be with me shortly; however, it took her a good 35 minutes to even look at me then she was extremely rude.
