I went in to Davids Bridal in Richfield, MN on a wenesday evening with my maid of honor to look at a bridesmaid dress that I saw online. When I walked in to the store the woman asked if I had an appointment and I said I did not but I wanted my MOH to try on a dress that I wanted to order. David's Bridal is a very high pressure sales machine. They will not allow ANY returns for ANY reason, so DO NOT let them talk you into anything. They will try. I am the mother of the bride and had to put up and shut up in order to not cause a scene and make a bad memory for my daughter. We have a $60 veil they talked her into, and she didn't really want it....No exchange, no refund, even though it had not even been out of the bag since she was coerced into buying it by high pressure sales. Basically, if you don't have a lot of money.. you can get a beautiful dress for a decent price here. However, know that they will nickel and dime you in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE until you say 'I do'. They sold me undergarments that weren't compatible with my dress, and would accept them back. However, the girl's that work there are usually very sweet.

Absolutely horrible!!! I worked with daivds bridal in feasterville pa. I will never ever reccommend davids to anyone! If I thought to read these reviews before going there I would have never went! I figured it would be easy since I have 9 girls in my party. What a nightmare! My color was being discontinued in Dec., we all ordered in nov. should have been my first red flag! I pretty much already knew what dress I wanted, so the "picking of the dress" was easy, and I really didnt need too much of their assistance... but the ALTERATIONS WERE TERRIBLE!!!!!!! If you buy your dress there its one thing, but please dont waste your time of money (or stress level) on their alterations! I needed my dress hemmed, 1 small front bustle and my sash connected...I had to go back 4 times! The only few good things i have to say is that their 99 gown sale is aweome. when u do rarely get a good consultant they take their time wih you. everything else was horrinle. horrible customer service. leanr to speak english clearly! they ruined my dress when they pressed it. other dresses we bought there were not finished on time promised. they lie about my dress, their seamstresses dont speak english. they just shake theyre head ans say yes alot. my advice... buy ur dress on sale from them but take it somewhere else for e... read more

I tried on bra from davids bridal before my wedding, went in tried it on and it fit perfectly. They did not have them in stock so they ordered me one and had it shipped to my home. I received it and it did not fit, and it was not the bra I had tried on at the store nor was it the size I had ordered. So I took it back this is 3 wks before wedding . DO NOT GET YOUR ITEMS ALTERED AT DAVID'S BRIDAL!!! I was lucky enough to find a beautiful simple Galina dress on sale that was just the style I wanted, but it needed some alterations. They quoted me $250!! This was more than the dress itself! I bought the dress anyway and took it to a regular tailor...$75 and it looks perfect!
