My daughter had a dress she really wanted and the attendant told her it was available to order. She said we could buy choice 2 that was in store in case the one we ordered didn’t fit and I would get a refund. I was surprised at this and so I asked the girl at the register, and she confirmed. “Yes, you have 60days to return”, so I paid for two prom dresses. I loved my dress and it needed a few SMALL alterations- this is where the problem was. I had such a terrible time. I asked four times for the alteration lady to fix this and she INSISTED that this was to make the dress - “more alluring.” Disappointing.

Pros: first day of finding dress was great. Customer rep was helpful, nice, wonderful. It was a weekday evening, so slower in store. Found a discounted ($800 😅) dress. Dress ordered came in earlier than expected. Upon trying on, the other workers who came by complimented the dress and their enthusiasm for the look made me feel great in it. Cons: tried on dress when it came in, and despite having an appt... It's Saturday, so it's busy... HORRIBLE experience with Alterations!! Asked for sleeves to be made for my dress bought the lace and sleeves up front first fitting was August first. I paid for the sleeves to be unlined and have the lace I bought sewn on. Got to first appointment sleeves are the wrong size and style and the lining was still on with the lace sewn to it.🤬 after a VERY stressful appointment which included the lady trying to fit them on me BACKWARDS we decided that we just wanted the lace, unlined sleeves, and a snap on my dress fixed and we w... read more

Absolutely worse experience with the alterations department staff was beyond rude, and tried to move my dress pickup to the weekend before the wedding.

My fiancé used David’s Bridal in OkC to find her wedding dress. The experience has been nothing but awful. First, during the appointment with her bridesmaids, they kept calling her by the wrong name. Second, they sent the wrong size in her dress and she had to find a new one. They did help her and she found a better one Which was great. However, she was scheduled to get the dress altered on the 31st of January and a lady calls them asking to reschedule. It’s a crying shame that this is the place to go to get an affordable dress becuase they have the worst customer service. I have been there three times with friends and family to buy dresses and have had the same experience each time. Associates are extremely rude and act as though they don’t have time to help people. There’s no reason picking out a wedding dress needs to be unpleasant for anyone involved. Maybe it’s not all of the associates, but the three I’ve experienced have been unpleasant.
