A good friend of mine passed away who was getting married soon & this store refused to give his fiancé her money back for a dress that wasn't altered.. she's going through enough , so insensitive and disgusting.. I will NEVER shop here and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know who are soon to be brides about this.

I work in retail. I understand all rules and regulations and policies. I also know that there are exceptions to every rule, regulation, and policy. I have a long time friend who I have known sense she was very young. She was so happy to be going to you guys to get her wedding dress, she was finally marrying the man of her dreams. A friend lost her soon to be husband and this store was extremely insensitive. This woman just wants to return the dress she is never going to get to wear to marry the love of her life. And then she is offered a store credit like she needs a new wedding dress? This is terrible and it is near Thanksgiving so you would assume your store would be more understanding of her circumstances. I usually don't weigh in on these issues; however, David's Bridal in West Springfield needs to do some soul searching and do the right thing. Kayleigh Payette and her fiancé were planning a July 2017 wedding and tragically, he passed away this week. She is beyond devastated and to add to her heartbreak, David's bridal will only give her an in store credit for her wedding attire which still has the price tags attached. If I could give you zero stars, I would. A wedding is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right? Imagine having that ripped out from underneath you when the love of your life passes. All of the butterflies and smiles turn to tears and worry and all you have to remind you is a dress, shoes, and all the other wonderful things you bought while you were going to get married. The rudest encounter with employee at the front desk. Wasn't even allowed past the desk to look. I was told rudely, since I had no appointment I could look at dresses but I was not to take 1 dress off the rack. I will never forget my experience and I will never say a great thing going about this rude, inconsiderate company again.
