I received a call at 8:15pm the night before I was scheduled to come in to get my alterations done. I was told in the voicemail that someone would reach out to reschedule, but they haven't contacted me. I would not recommend David's Bridal to any bride who is looking to get their wedding gown altered for their big day. 👎

I’ve been trying to find words for this review before writing it because, after working in retail for 5 years, it’s been very difficult for me to comprehend how a sales associate could be THAT rude.. but here we go.. I went to the West Springfield David’s location back in Dec 2021 for my best friends wedding with her bridal party and I will never go back. WARNING...DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. There are so many better places in this area that will give you more care then David's Bridal. All they care about is the dollar that goes in their pocket. I worked in customer service for 6 years and NEVER would I have treated a customer the way they do here. Horrible experience! Went with all the bridesmaids to pick out dresses. When they arrived, we discovered the wrong dress was ordered for the maid of honor and the wrong size was ordered for myself. The wedding is 10/13; my dress isn’t scheduled to arrive until 10/3 now due to the employees error. No one seems to care and thinks a simple oh sorry fixes the situation. DISGUSTED. Horrible business practices and much added unneeded stress for a bride to be! And zero concern from management.
Sales staff weren’t terrible - alterations is a NIGHTMARE! They even had the audacity to tell me “oh just lose weight before the wedding and you’ll be fine” - and commented yet again about my weight. The alterations they did were horrible. Nothing at all what I asked for. I reluctantly took it home because they were rude as hell and the manager said “oh it’ll be fine, nobody will notice”. Now they are telling me “oh you signed for it so we have to see it before fixing anything”. My wedding is in 29 days and I have to rush it... read more

There with my daughter (Bride) & bridal party. She booked online. Never told it was “prom season” until we arrived to find limited availability of dressing rooms, collections, & accessories. Very hectic & unorganized. Assistant chooses a dress only to be told “I’ll need to see if that’s in your size” comes back I’m told “yes it does” then get measured, she “checks again” only to tell me “so your measurements don’t actually work with this dress because is really a prom dress so it’s like jr’s“.
