I had a furnace installed through the Weatherization program by Des Moines Heating and Cooling. I used them again to have my air conditioner installed. I felt the price was very reasonable.

Both Craig and Lori were great Lori listened to my sob story of how I was hung out to dry with another company the night before(they never showed). After being burned the previous evening with a no show company AC people were not high on my warm fuzzy list. Both Craig and Lori made me feel that they really cared about my problem. Craig arrived at the scheduled time and took the time to explain and answer all of my questions. Our AC went out and Craig was able to help us get it working again over the phone. What a life-saver when it is so hot out! We signed up for the fall and spring tune-ups so this doesn't happen to us again. Thanks for everything!

The people that did the installation were excellent. They were looking for extra things to do. They also did a good job with the cleanup. We were just very happy with them.

We are a 420-unit apartment complex and needed someone who could handle the volume of work that we have and be available to us when we needed them. Des Moines Heating, Cooling & Refrigeration - Air Conditioning has exceeded our expectations. Availability was a big factor for us in choosing them because we do not have an AC tech helping us. I was hesitant about using a new company but they have proven themselves and been available to us 24/7. WOW, Des Moines Heating & Cooling ROCKS! It was cold in my house and I didn't know who to call... I live on the south side of Des Moines. So, I had remembered that I had drove by their shop and saw how busy they were so I figured they must be doing good things. I called there 515-282-7086 number and I got Brad.(it was nice to talk to someone not a answering marching) He came right over and took care of the problem on a Sunday! I couldn't be happier. Motor going out of existing Furnace, Sunday and Craig returned my call while on a Service Call..! Showed up the next moring at 8:00am, after being very honest about repairs I bought a new Goodman... They were done by 2:00pm :-)
