Was kept on hold for 20 minutes waiting for an appointment. I called them back cause I thought they forgot me then after holding again for 8 minutes I gave up. Drove to office to make appointment and waited in lobby for 30 minutes to set up appointment. Person was nice enough to contact other offices for recent appointment.
It was extremely hard to make an appointment with Desert Radiology. I called three times. The first two times I hung up after waiting 45 min. My appointment was important so the third time I remained on hold until someone picked up. Again, I waited a long time (around 50 minutes). However, the agent was apologetic and nice. He was accommodating in getting me an ultrasound appointment for my thyroid for the following day. My mammogram is not for a couple of months away. The MRI technician was great, but the person that brought me in and tried to run the IV missed my vein twice. She was really nice but she missed my obvious veins twice and it hurt really bad. I felt like and looked like a pin cushion. Especially for someone that doesn’t like needles it was a very bad experience.
I had a good experience. Sandy, the X-ray tech was very nice. My dissatisfaction was in scheduling w/c took more than 25 min of waiting. Pls improve your scheduling to the extent that it would be much less time in waiting to be scheduled. Thank you.
