    I've got what feels like small rocks and uneven areas under my new carpet. My expectation was a much higher.

    Make sure employees cover shoes when delivering/carrying materials through the house.

    The sales staff Allen is great . The installers are the worst. The people who installed our laminate floor did not communicate with me at all. The person who was apparently the leader (Chris) did not say more than two sentences to me. He did not introduce himself when he arrived and I had to ask him his name and if he was from DeSitter, he gave the appearance he did not want to be there. They set up their saws on my deck without asking, when they left there was sawdust all over my deck and my seven Bonsai plants were covere... read more

    I previously wrote an email to the customer service manager and the sales manager, but in summary: 1. Carpet was made incorrectly 2. We had a pad only for 6 weeks (old carpet torn out before they realized new carpet was wrong size). This caused several cuts, torn and snagged clothes and excessive dirt in the house 3. We were promised a new pad when the correct carpet arrived, but the installers showed up without it. 4. No one has called to follow up on our experience.     Overpriced!!!

DeSitter will never try and say that we have the cheapest prices around but we feel we are very comparable to other stores and showrooms that stock the same quality products and offer the same great customer service that we do.     I posted a review a few weeks ago regarding Desitter Flooring and their outstanding customer service. It's been 3 weeks and I still have not heard back from them regarding the bedroom furniture that was dropped by their installer causing the mirror to dislodge. The installer secured the mirror again using staples however Desitters customer service said that they contacted another 'contracted' company to review my furniture. Customer service? I dont think so. Another example of poor communication.

    The flooring looks great but my experience with Karen Gaimari was subpar. There was insufficient material delivered to the job and it was not finished when promised. Karen provided terrible customer service and I had to track her down instead of her seeking to remedy the situation. She always made me feel like my project was unimportant. I found her arrogance unjustified and her demeanor rude and condescending.

    Poor communication between salesman & buyer, between scheduler & buyer, between installer & buyer, between scheduler & installer. Originally scheduled install for late morning on 6/12. I received call on 6/9 requesting that i reshedule for 6/13 (between 8am and 10am first installation) as a favor to them. Recieved a messsage on 6/12 that installers would now be arriving between 11am and 1pm (different than the agreed upon reschedule time). Installers showed up about 9:30.
