I called the store last evening and spoke with Millie who was very helpful and placed some Vera Bradley items on hold that I was looking for. I explained that I wanted to make sure the items were available because I was coming from out of town. Millie took my info and told me that the items would be on hold for 48 hours. I informed her I would be there after noon the next day, and she said that would be fine. Going thru hold items is part of the morning routine for the Customer Service Team to ensure merchandise is held or returned to the sales floor as needed. I went in for an item that was hold for me. When I got there I was left a note about it being broken. Then I got a story about how it was purchased after it was broken. Not really sure if I believe that story?!? Found something else for the gift I needed. Even after that it took too much time to find the box to wrap it. No offer of any kind of compensation for the inconvenience of me. Not even a free gift wrap?!? Had to drive out of my way to come only to find out what I wanted was not there. I will not be back.

I like the store but there aren’t any shopping carts that have a child seat in it..So shopping with a toddler or baby is hard near impossible if u have to push a stroller an shopping cart.

Worst customer service. Thankfully, the corporate stores of their products do better by their customers and have helped solve the issue. Will have to think long and hard before shopping there again.

I visited Dwayne's today and was extremely disappointed in the service I received. An employee misinformed me of the price of an item and customer service was less than helpful in the situation. She went so far as to basically tell me that I should have shopped prior to December 23rd....If YOUR employee gives a customer information, you should honor it. Will NOT shop here again....

They had a lot of nice stuff but they're pretty overpriced. Went to Pottery Barn afterwards and got the same stuff for less.

I really liked the boutique before they changed it. Doesn't seem like they have as much variety and the shoe collection was very limited.

Hi Penny, thanks for the feedback! We do still carry our great footwear brands such as... Dansko, Jack Rogers, Alegria, Jambu, Naot and at least 5 more brands. The new Boutique has actually provided us the opportunity to carry MORE shoes than before. We are able to feature all footwear in one section now, instead of tucked into displays throughout the space. I think that the openness of the space could make the areas feel as tho we don't have as much. We are currently transitioning into fall and excited about new style... read more

Still receiving compliments for a Spartina 'pineapple' tote which I purchased and have yet to find in any other store. What a shopper's paradise. A must stop when I travel to SC from NJ... Love this store!
