I am writing about the Spa and Cafe. I visited the spa with my husband and kids this summer while on a visit with family in Brentwood, CA. All I can say is the owner of Diamond Hills Spa is really 'out to lunch", no pun intended. We come from a very progressive community near Portland, Oregon, but recently moved to Concord. This place is going down hill. They might want to hire more staff. The place is getting dirty by the weeks( garbage cans over flowing, towel baskets over flowing, dirty showers, grimy table/ counter tops) I know it's partly to do with the members and how they pick up after themselves ( Come on lets not be gross) But with that being said Diamond Hills staff should be picking up the slack. I use to love this place. I brought a friend and with the looks of the place why would she and her family want to join!

One Star because I can't give it a zero...Walked into this fitness club with high hopes. Perhaps that was my first mistake but I wanted to remain positive for the experience and remain hopeful this gym would be the one I would go to because of its proximity to my house. Not to mention what the gym offers: swimming, classes, free weights, a cafe and others. This club is awesome! But I won't come here because of the fashion show that happens at the gym. Guys lifting up their shirts to check themselves out and girls dressing like they're trying to win a beauty pageant.

The owners of diamond hills apperently is running a membership reduction program,and in charge of the program they have the manager and a trainer heading the enovative program.By treating members who have been there the longest with disrespect and embarrassing them in front of there clients. Anyone in need of a gym were you won't be repermanded for making to much noise with the machine your on, I recommend In Shape on Balfour rd. It's 20$ a month cheaper and again you won't be subject to being embarrassed. Nice job Diamond... read more

This review is for the spa. I'm a frequent spa goer (facials, massage. etc). I was very unimpressed with this spa and the staff. 1: When you walk in it smells like food. Fried, nasty food 2: while my Mom and I were waiting for our services (in their "quiet room") the staff were very loud and rude. I mean, very unprofessional. As far as the classes and the pool..this gym is great. I wish they had a woman's weight lifting area. I give it two stars due to the child care. The ladies working in there are great...its the way you have to have an appointment for a child who is not walking. It can be nearly impossible to get said appointment for the time you want. When we signed up ,they told us that this place was high end. Gym,but is not even close to be a high end. Club.Machines they are always broken same machines ,the place is like a market with people selling things in the tv area ,outside there is a truck that takes 4 spaces and if you have a baby and need to park close to the entrance then you are not in luck that day.At the day care things are different people is really nice and. I have had a few experiences with this gym, most recently I tried to re-sign up for a membership. I came in and spoke to one of the marketing ladies, and she told me about the pricing, etc. I had previously been here, and one of the pricing differences made me hesitate to sign up right then, so I said that I'd be back soon.
