My boyfriend, our two dogs and I have been living here for almost 4 months now and we LOVE it! Cannot say enough good things. The amenities are great, we're close to the BART, the apartment itself is wonderful and the management team is so great. They really listen to the tenants thoughts and opinions and try to make Domain a great place to live.

I came here last night for the grand opening party. The party was great and the place looked great with some really nice amenities. I viewed both of the models they had opened. A 1bd/1ba and 2bd/2ba. The 2x2 was a nice size, the 1x1 was really small. This place is definitely not in the best location in Downtown Oakland when it comes to shops. I attended a grand opening party for Domain by Alta last night. This was truly a five star party, complete with complimentary food, drink and live music. I ate plenty of cheese and fresh fruit, prawn spring rolls, chicken fajitas, carnitas tacos, beef sliders, chocolate cream pie, yam ginger tarts and plenty of beer! My boyfriend and I ate at Tamarindo and happened to check out the new Domain by Alta apartments...simply put, we were blown away. Location is awesome, prices are totally affordable, and the buildings are the most modern and hippest we've seen in an urban setting. They have a bike shop in the building!!! Who has that??? (We've looked at places in the City, East Bay and Peninsula...pretty much all were the same boring stuff.) After seeing these units, we've decided to move from the City!
