I’m not loving it so far - and people showed up to our house but a realtor never did which was odd - so for us so far we aren’t impressed Hopefully it will get better and I would gladly change my rating but the only thing they keep telling us is to lower our rent

Vlad is a racist. When I showed up for the tour he looked at me with a face of disgust and rolled his eyes. He rushed to the elevator and didn’t even want to make eye contact. I was so uncomfortable that I even asked him if everything was okay. He said yes that he was just tired. When we got to the apartment he opened the door and said “well this is the apartment” he then got on his phone and didn’t even tell me anything about the apartment or amenities. Everything Doorstead claims they do for you will cost you DOUBLE and for worse service then you would be able to offer any prospective renter. 1) Rented my condo at a LOSS of $400 per month, and when I expressed my frustration that there was ZERO communication in the leasing process they said "tough luck, we have sole discretion of rental pricing." If your guaranteed rent isn't enough to make you money DO NOT USE DOORSTEAD THEY WILL DROP YOUR PLACE DOWN TO THE CHEAPEST PRICE THEY CAN SO THEY CAN GET A RENTER IN THERE QUICKER... read more

The whole experience was terrible and I feel like we dodged a bullet by not going with this rental property. First of all, it took a few times of contacting them to actually find us a time to view the property. When we arrived, I messaged the agent, but they said they weren't going to show up because "something came up" and gave us the gate code and the lockbox code, which seemed very unprofessional. Had an absolutely terrible experience with doorstead. Middle management meant that any service requests between us as the tenants and the property owner took twice as long. We had a twelve month lease which we requested to renew after the twelve months were up, doorstead took their opportunity to max out on the increase in rent we paid and let us stay on a month-to-month lease, then come June of this year doorstead gave us sixty days notice to vacate because the property owner is selling the home. Zero stars Poor service from I experience property managers. They priced our unit incorrectly and so it was on the market for over a month in a good market. Then 2 days before they had to pay us, Doorstead emailed to say they were not paying the Guaranteed Rent as they found an HOA line saying our house was restricted to renting. They were wrong but we had to look for legal counsel to get them to pay. Also they dont respond to emails from owners, which begs the question....are they responsive to tenants? Doorstead is not equipped to effectively manage your property. Their management seems incompetent, particularly in coordinating between their various teams, tenants, and property owners. Their rapid expansion has left them ill-prepared to handle the influx of clients, resulting in subpar service and neglect of property maintenance. During my tenure with Doorstead, they required me to repaint the entire house through their vendor. I would not recommend renting from Doorstead. We viewed a property and love it so much that we applied for it. We got approved for the property within 48 hours. We decided to view the home again before accepting and I’m so glad we did. We checked all of the fans, faucets and air conditioning to make sure everything worked. I’m so glad we did because one of the sinks had a leak and it leaked all over the cabinet and floor. We also noticed a pipe leaking on the patio among other things. I really resent replying to a Zillow listing and getting an automated response directing me to another website that collects more of my personal information (for their marketing) and all I’m trying to do is see an apartment.
