Doug was unable to reimberse the loan costs of $995 as agreed. He is now trying to use it to cover a credit for a future refinance which is not what I wanted. Also, the interest rate is no where near the 6.3% that was quoted at the beginning.

Communication was lacking. We had an issue with our seller concessions that we asked about three weeks before closing. Doug said he would call us back to discuss. We were not called back and the issue continued through closing. He called us after papers were signed to tell us that we needed to re-sign and deal with the issue after closing. Granted, our deal was a bit uncommon but it seemed that Doug didn’t know much beyond the “standard” purchase contract. They sold my mortgage off to another company the first chance they got, and now the new company is not honoring any of the original agreements that we had. They are refusing to release escrow and PMI, resulting in many extra charges for me. I feel deceived and duped.
