Challenging communication when trying to lock rate. Understood on need for vacation and challenges around storms / power issues, but clear handoff to someone in office and able to move the process forward when in a critical phase would be improvement.

He was friendly but we waited long periods of time for a response or questions answered. He kept saying he would call shortly but hours go by. We almost didn't close on time because he wanted us to try to get the seller to cover our home owners insurance. He advised us not to respond to the title company and that he would handle it and it was not handled. It got very messy at the end and we almost had to push the closing back to the next week. I would recommend Mutual of Omaha but not Douglas Kuehn.
