We were originally working with another lender, but ended up switching to Mutual of Omaha due to a better rate offer. Not only was Doug responsive, he made sure that all of my questions were answered and that his team would be able to meet our closing date (a little over two weeks when we first started talking). We closed on the house yesterday with no problems!

Lack of communication at the end of the process regarding the rate floatdown. Continuously had to chase or follow up when he wrote that he would follow up that day. By the time we caught one another, it was too late to exercise the floatdown because it was within 3d of close, though this information was not communicated. We also discussed a lender credit and fee waiver given the missed opportunity, he said he would send this in writing, and did not.

Doug was responsive to all my messages and calls. We had a game plan and we executed it on time. On the underwriting side I would say there’s room for improvement, you had my file for ~2 months and asked for difficult to track down documents at the 11th hour.

I told Doug this several times - I appreciate he respected our privacy and didn't talk to us like a 'car salesman' would - he didn't try to up-sell us on anything, and answered all of our questions during the loan process.
