I had rhinoplasty done by Dr De Silva. From the first time we met, he was always very cool, calm and collected. Everything you want to see in your surgeon. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. They were always there for me, and Dr De Silva was always fairly quick to respond to any email queries or phonecalls. I had lower and upper eyelid surgery under sedation carried out by Dr Julian De Silva and I am extremely pleased with the results 6 or so weeks afterwards. I know I still have more healing so the results can only get better. As my eyelids are no longer covering my eyeballs and the floppy bags under my eyes are gone I have a greater field of vision and I also look wide awake. I had a face lift and neck lift in February I was surprised to find it wasn't as bad as I thought. It wasn't even painful , I didn't have much bruising or swelling like I thought, but I did follow all Dr De Silva's instructions . Everyone at the centre were very kind, I travelled all the way from Yorkshire and I was very nervous. Dr De Silva has a very soothing voice and made me feel less stressed. I recently had rhinoplasty done by Dr De Silva. The procedure went very well, I had it under sedation. I was very anxious about going under sedation because I thought I would be awake for the procedure. I did not feel a thing and felt as though I had been asleep for the entire procedure. Dr De SIlva and his team have been exceptional during this journey. My nasal septum was straightened out and this has improved my breathing especially at night. I had the following procedures two and a half months ago; Lower blepharoplasty; skinresurfacing (around eyes); PRP (platelet rich plasma); Fat transfer and Upper blepharoplasty. I am super pleased with the results so far. I felt completely at ease throughout the process from the pre -op appointments, the anaesthetic and post operative care. It is now over six months that I had upper blepharoplasty and laser resurfacing with Dr Julian De Silva. There is still a thin white scar line on my eyelids, however, this is only visible with my eyes closed and falls within the natural creases of my eyes, and this may still reduce further. I am a 52 year old man, and had an upper blepharoplasty procedure in February 2015. From the first consultation with Dr De Silva I knew that I was in good hands. He was very clear reassuring, and explained to me exactly what was involved and what results I could expect. From the very first time I met Dr De Silva he had the most calming manner I felt so relaxed after our first meeting. I followed the procedure to the letter which helped my recovery. I had a face lift and a neck lift. I had local anaesthetic , I was mostly sleeping but the team were so kind that the whole experience wasn't as frightening as I thought. I came to Dr De Silva after previous genioplasty that had not gone to plan resulting in another operation to correct it before having a consultation with Dr De Silva in 2014. At this point I was feeling very distressed and unhappy, I was immediately reassured by Dr De Silva's knowledge, professionalism and compassion. Coming round from the Sedation was a euphoric experience and recovery from surgery was short compared to previous experiences of local anaesthesia.
