I have used Echols in the past. They replaced an asphalt roof on an 18-year-old house. It was one of those hail-damaged things, and the insurance company had paid me a certain amount—I was OK with the price. I would grade them an A.
They were fixing my roof. A nail was punching the wrong way into it. They were punctual and honest, seemed to have a lot of integrity, and I was pleased with it. They had excellent customer service. I would give them an A.
I went with Echols. They were on time, good price, and good repair—everything was great. There were two air vents on the roof that were leaking around the flashing, so they replaced both of those vents and the flashing and fixed that leak. I'd give them an A+.
They did the work quickly, and it seemed to be a fair price. They repaired a hole in the roof. I'd give them an A+.
They did a very good job. They were there when they said they would be, they did what they said they would do, and they cleaned up well after themselves. They did a new roof. I have an older home—it was built back in the 30s—so they did some carpentry work. I read some good reviews on them and the guy who came out to give me the estimate did the work, so I felt comfortable with them. I would grade them an A.
I believe Echols ended up doing the work. It was OK. I'd say B+. They just patched the roof.
Echols was fantastic. I had four other roofing people come out before them. I had a leak under the solar panel, and nobody could find it. They found it and stopped it. I’ve already recommended them to two or three of my friends, and they were tickled with them, too. They’re an A+ company. I don’t normally recommend people, but I would highly recommend Echols.
They just took care of everything. They came over and sized it up real quick, they saw a couple other areas I didn't see, they got it fixed and a good price—I was pleased with it. Some of these boots that surround some of the outlets coming out the top of my roof had worn away, and they replaced those. I saw two of them, he got up there and found a couple others that needed to be repaired, so he fixed those too. I'd give them an A+.
I liked everything, from the salesman to the workmanship; it was very efficient, they cleaned everything up—it just went very well. They put a new roof on my house. I had gotten another estimate that was twice what theirs was, so I chose them. I found them in the Best Pick Reports book, and that's where I got their name, so I just made a couple of calls to the top two. I would definitely grade them an A.
