The tenting was great however getting broken into and robbed of family heirlooms and having our home trashed was devastating. If we ever have to get tented again we will hire security.
For our in escrow inspection, your inspector Ben, gave us a written report that stated we needed only to treat attic with heat at a cost of $1700. After 5-7 hr treatment was completed, we were informed that the treatment technicians Omari noted subterranean termites and a small area of dry rot not noted by the inspector. We would have to treat these (additional $900 + cost of contractor to address dry rot) before paperwork could be given to escrow. Very disappointed. Had to wait 3 weeks for ban appointment and when they came, there were no more signs of activity. If they don't come ASAP next time I will be looking for a new service.
Ecola is easy to work with, and has given good service over the years. The reports, however, are hard to understand, there is no " bottom line" telling what was found, what was done or what is recommended ! You need clearer reporting.
We have been long time customers. Until now very pleased. BUT --- annual termite inspection was scheduled for today between 10-12. No show. At 12:25, I called the office. After a 10 minute wait I was told, with no conviction, that inspector would be at the house in 30 minutes. Asked to talk to a supervisor and instead received a call from the inspector that was scheduled to come to our house. He tells me he was scheduled "wrong" is just starting an inspection on another house which by location I know is about 30 minutes away... read more
We still have cockroaches
Last year, we had three visits from Ecola representatives: The first was Ben, who assessed/estimated our termite situation in our attic. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The technicians who came out to do the actual treatment were questionable. They did not clean out the existing droppings, which Ben previously said would happen, so that we would know if new problems arose.
