The service technician arrived without any knowledge of the areas of the house that needed to be treated. We printed him off a copy of the inspection report so he could acquaint himself with the issues. He as embarrassed, we were puzzled... The lady that came to measure my home and inspect was horrible. First she measured wrong, so if I did tent my house the amount of gas wouldn’t have been enough. Secondly she didn’t find any of the termite infestation areas two other companies plus my dad found! Worst company ever. I called and spoke to John the manager and he did absolutely nothing and no call back.
The Ecola rep was hours late for the initial appt with no call to notify us. The second scheduled appt was a no show with no call. We then called to reschedule. During the second visit when we were to be notified of all we needed to do to prepare for treatment I was told we needed to move the bark away from the house and move any potted plants. The treatment for subterranean termites was not completed and there was no communication to me as to why or if they would return to finish the job. Multiple holes that were drilled into the cement were left unfilled and the ones that were have rough uneven blobs protruding above the surface. I was told that they would be filled and then sanded flush with the cement and hardly be noticeable. This is not the case. And all the dust from drilling was left. We've paid for an annual inspection for 15 years and fixed everything that was found with termites. Now we've discovered 3 areas that are heavily infested with termites on the exterior of our house that has been missed for a very long time. It will cost us hundreds of dollars to fix. While we like the non-toxic treatment methods, the inspection is worthless if you never find the termites to treat!
This was an annual inspection for the warranty and the inspector arrived on time and thoroughly checked for any sign of termite activity and dry rot. Friendly attitude and professional.
