Edna called me weekly to keep me informed of the status of my application. This was very helpful as opposed to sitting and not knowing where things were.
I already had a mortgage with PennyMac so doing a Refi with them seemed logical to me. My hunch was correct and had a very good, seamless experience !
I have nothing bad to say with pennymac.
Edna was great, but there were lots of issues with the transaction. I was miss quoted by my loans officer and it was just frustrating because it was something that was quoted multiple times and ended up being different at the last minute. The location for my signing was also miscommunicated, which was very frustrating. I was constantly told that the notary would come to my home but on the day of signing I received a call from a notary saying I was supposed to be in San Francisco, 3 hours away from where I was, because of thi... read more
